Aims
The aim of the company is to provide good quality, clean, safe facilities for partner clubs, individuals and company users at a reasonable cost sufficient to generate enough income for the company, to cover it’s employees wages, expenses etc. and to build up resources for future developments repairs etc..
To provide work opportunities and business facilities with training for people, initially but not exclusively, within the Everton area.
To offer training services with self employment opportunities support and mentoring to unemployed or under employed people regardless of age gender or background.
Some retired people feel that premature retirement has had a detrimental effect on their mental health and wellbeing. Such people could benefit from further training and full time, or part time self employment opportunities, useful advice and support regardless of age or background, others could pass on their wealth of knowledge and experience to others.
To provide training and work placement opportunities in a multi-media discipline.
To co-operate with other charities and organisations to achieve common goals in synergy with the above stated aims.
Objectives
1 To form a members association with one representative member from each business or club with long term user agreements. To ensure that future decisions are made to benefit everyone.
2 Appoint directors with useful specialist skills or local knowledge.
3 To set in place adequate systems to enable positive cash flow and sustainability.
4 To initially promote and introduce the service to clubs and businesses in the North West.
5 To establish and maintain regular contact with users.
6 To generate sufficient income to cover wages expenses etc.by January 2025
7 To provide a useful affordable service for the local community.
8 To set up a “Dragon’s Den” style panel to advise and assist would be entrepreneurs to set realistic goals and paths to achievement.
9 To train retired people to pass on their skills to others.
10 To look into the feasibility of using Solar and Wind energy to generate electricity for the Albion Centre.
11 To bring all sections of the Albion Centre back into use for the benefit of the community.
