Albion House Limited incorporated in 1985 and evolved from Albion Boys Club founded in 1931.

and Albion House 2004 Limited incorporated in 2005 as part of a later abandoned plan to divide up the property.

Up-Start Business Units Limited was incorporated in 2023 to protect the name for a planned project in the next phase of our redevelopment.

We intend to reactivate the two Albion House companies to provide more  youth and other charity work in the area when adequate sustainable   funding is available. In the meantime Albion Centre Limited will continue to provide, long term and short term, accommodation, facilities and support for local clubs, organisations, established businesses , start-ups and home workers. Plans Include, virtual office services, access to  “Zoom” and “Teams” video conferencing facilities with fast reliable broadband, and good quality video equipment.  We will also open “Molly Bushell’s” coffee and ice-cream  house to cater for the local community, passing trade, existing and new users. It is hoped, the coffee house will soon become an informal community meeting place and generate regular income for the company.

Existing users.

Existing long term business and club users will be asked to sign written legal agreements setting out terms of use including  payment etc. The agreements should be broadly similar to existing verbal contracts currently in place but would have the advantage of clarifying all rights and responsibilities.

New users.

New long time users will be asked to sign a similar agreement and provide copies of third party insurance banking details and business or company details, references etc. as required.  They will also be asked to pay one months rent in advance.

Short time users for daily or hourly room hire will be asked to sign acceptance of the company’s terms and conditions.
